These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Roku applications published by Taepke Studios. By downloading, opening, or using one of our applications, you agree to these terms.
Use of Our Applications
Taepke Studios grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use our applications for lawful, private, and noncommercial entertainment purposes.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, redistribute, sell, rent, or sublicense an application except where permitted by law.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to an application or its related systems.
- Use an application for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
- Manipulate scores, leaderboards, purchases, advertising systems, or gameplay data.
- Claim ownership of Taepke Studios applications, artwork, names, designs, code, or other content.
Ownership
All application software, gameplay concepts, graphics, artwork, text, logos, sounds, designs, and other content provided by Taepke Studios are owned by Taepke Studios or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Roku and related Roku trademarks are owned by Roku, Inc. Taepke Studios is an independent developer and is not Roku, Inc.
Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue an application or any feature at any time.
We do not guarantee that an application will always be available, compatible with every Roku device, free from interruptions, or supported indefinitely.
Scores and Saved Progress
Some applications may store scores, settings, achievements, or progress locally on your Roku device or temporarily during an application session.
Taepke Studios does not guarantee that saved information will always remain available. Data may be lost because of application updates, deletion, device replacement, device resets, software errors, or other technical issues.
Purchases
If an application offers optional purchases, those purchases may be processed through Roku’s billing systems and may also be subject to Roku’s terms and policies.
Unless otherwise required by law or Roku’s policies, purchases are subject to the rules presented at the time of purchase.
Advertising and Third-Party Services
Applications may contain advertisements, links, or services provided by third parties. Taepke Studios is not responsible for the content, availability, security, or privacy practices of third-party services.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our applications are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Taepke Studios makes no guarantee that an application will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or suitable for every user or purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Taepke Studios will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use an application.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions or limitations of liability, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
User Conduct
Users must not use our applications to submit, create, arrange, upload, display, or distribute content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, obscene, discriminatory, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate.
Taepke Studios may restrict access to online features or remove submitted content when reasonably necessary to protect users, services, or legal rights.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan and applicable United States law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions when our applications, features, business practices, or legal obligations change. Continued use of an application after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
